Caminos que Andan:  Episode 4

JUAN BEROES, 1980

Like Toulouse Lautrec, Verlaine, Poe his work is born from the pain of the world, the alcohol of despair, metaphysical fear and physical abuse.  The story captures the mystical beauty, erotic magic of his poetry, the human condition of the artist, and the poet’s loneliness.  Beroes is a poet of the golden age.  The program takes place in the world of bullfights and flamenco and includes the story of a young bull from birth to its final charge.
